Select Soccer

Select Soccer

Manitowoc Futbol Club (MFC) offers a higher level of competition in its Select Program for Girls and Boys ages 10 - 18. Playing on a MFC Select team requires a higher level of commitment from both the player and their family.  Each team is coached by a United States Soccer Federation/WI Youth Soccer Association (WYSA) licensed coach and will receive training led by Manitowoc FC's Director of Coaching.

All teams may have a team camp in July or August that stresses MFC curriculum, philosophies and team building.

MFC Juniors

MFC Juniors

MFC Juniors is designed to be a fun, multiple session program held each spring and fall for 4 year olds to kindergartners.  One of the main goals of the Juniors Program is to provide a safe, inclusive and structured environment so that our youngest athletes can be encouraged and grow in their first organized soccer experience.

To allow all boys and girls opportunities to dribble, pass, and shoot, players will scrimmage one another in a 2 v 2 or 3 v 3 format with multiple goals.  Thre are no formal teams or rosters.  Players will receive a penny and join a new team as soon as they arrive each week.  Our MFC Juniors staff will oversee the 2 v 2 and 3 v 3 games to help demonstrate, encourage, and guide the athletes as they play.

About halfway though each session, The program leader(s) will bring several groups together for activities that will help introduce soccer skills and allow the player to have opportunity to practice.  Activites are often familiar to children with a fun soccer twist.
