The Goalgetters United Soccer Club started over 25 years ago to bring soccer to all ages and skill levels in our community. It has been an amazing success. However, as our soccer community has grown, so has the need to evolve into a club with broader reach and bigger goals. With that in mind, the Goalgetters of Manitowoc Inc. Board of Directors made the decision in June of 2021 to re-brand our club to Manitowoc FC to match this new vision. Although we expect this change to bring new levels of success to our club over time, we will always offer soccer to the young and old, skilled and new to the sport and to players of every economic background.
New uniforms, updated program offerings and coach/player development will all be a part of this updated club structure along with our continued affiliation with Lakeshore United FC. We want to grow our Community/Rec Soccer and Juniors program as well as our Academy and Select Programs so we can begin to compete at the State Level. Manitowoc FC is a volunteer organization which encourages community/family participation to help foster growth and development of our members within the environment of soccer. We are always looking for volunteers.
We continuously emphasize skill development, personal improvement, teamwork, respect, sportsmanship and commitment during our coaching sessions and throughout the season. Manitowoc FC values and promotes continuing soccer education, fair and competitive play, leadership development, good sportsmanship and strives to generate a love for the "beautiful game".
