Manitowoc Futbol Club (MFC) offers a higher level of competition in its Select Program for 10 - 18 year old Girls and Boys. Playing on a MFC Select team requires a higher level of commitment by the player and their family than Community Soccer.  Each team is coached by a United States Soccer Federation/WI Youth Soccer Association licensed coach and will receive training led by MFC's Director of Coaching, Chris Corrao.

The Select Program is geared to the committed soccer player that aspires to develop skills and team play while preparing them for State League, High School and College Soccer.  We do offer a 6 month program for the High School ages and a 12-month program focusing on player and team development in preparation for competitive league and tournament play.  With increasing levels of competition, players will develop both technical skills and tactical awareness of the game.

Manitowoc FC currently has a split season meaning players can sign up for Spring and/or Fall season soccer. 

Our goal as a club is to begin to have a playing year like most Select Clubs in the US.   It would start with June Tryouts and conclude at the end of the following Spring Season. For U11-U14 athletes this includes:

• Fall Outdoor Season (August - November)
• Spring Outdoor Season (April - June)

As athletes enter high school, U15-U19 players will play a modified outdoor schedule that does not interfere with area high school soccer programs: 

• Girls Fall Outdoor Season (September - November)
• Boys Spring Outdoor Season (April - June)

   

During the outdoor season, Select teams typically compete either in the East Central Soccer District or the Wisconsin State League, which offers multiple divisions of increasing levels of competition.  Both leagues are administered by Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association (WYSA). 

Teams will experience promotion and relegation throughout divisions and leagues based on their performance in league play.  Teams experiencing success in the highest levels of the East Central have the opportunity to move onto the State League.  

Teams competing in the East Central Soccer District and should expect away games to be scheduled within a one (1) hour drive from Manitowoc, Wisconsin.

All home games take place in Manitowoc, Wisconsin - primarily at the Manitowoc Futbol Club, Away games for the East Central League are played in the Fox Valley, Green Bay and surrounding areas.

•      $ 550 per player
  •    Fall and Spring seasons

     U15 - U19 (High School)

•      $ 325 per player 
  •     Opposite of the player's HS season 
  •     One - Two practices per week
  •     Fall - 8 to 10 games (HS Girls only)
  •     Spring - 8 to 10 games (HS Boys only)
  •     All Referee, League and WYSA/ECSL fees
  •     WYSA Licensed Coach
•      $ 125 one-time uniform fee  
  •    Includes Home and Away Jerseys, Shorts and Socks
•      There are no refunds.

There is $25/player for online registration, or $35/player for in person walk-up registration. These fees are non-refundable and do not apply to the per player fees as stated above.
